1938: Ken Piercy Manager Opens Pine Theater. (single screen)
1971: Pine Theater temporarily closes because rowdiness.
1971: Pine Theater closes for good.

Closed sometime in the early 80's as reported from locals.

Due to a dispute over original back emergency exit the theater could not re-open after the last closer.
2006:" Prineville's Ali & Oniko Mehrabi buy the theater with the intention of reopening it to show movies.
We knew there was an issue with back exit. Seller disclosed all information on the Pine."
2006 December: 5 inches for back exit could not be worked out.
2007 February: After public out cry Crook County Building department came up with an emergency exit solution.

June 07' : Subcontractors bid
July 07' : Destruction finished, plumbing in, concrete finished, framing done.
August 07' : Electrical starts!
Sept 07' : Everything stops due to money issues.
October 07' : Money found
Nov 07' : Screen (37ft x 15ft larger screen than most in mega plex) is ordered along with theater projection equipment
Dec 07' : The I5 Flood postpones delivery's and stalls progress.

Dec 19th: opens at 7pm without notice to the papers! with a free movie to the public for 2 days! Narnia
